The Department of Finance and Business Economics (DFBE), University of Delhi, in collaboration with the Department of Commerce, Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi, and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), co-organised a two-day International Conference titled "Amrit Kaal to Viksit Bharat: Proactive Governance, Resilient Entrepreneurship and Geopolitical Realignment for Goldilocks' Economy."
The conference was designed as a scholarly and inclusive platform for dialogue and solutions at a pivotal moment for India, where achieving the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision requires timely, collective action. The event placed India’s youth at its core, recognising their role in reshaping startups, public policy, digital infrastructure, and community development.
The discussions took place amid global complexity, including geopolitical turbulence, disruptive technologies, climate pressures, and economic rebalancing. Academics, policymakers, and business leaders examined how India’s institutions, entrepreneurial ecosystem, and strategy must evolve for sustainable and inclusive economies, placed India’s Viksit Bharat ambitions in a comparative global context, enriching the discourse.
